PSHE & RSE at Captains Close Primary School

Belonging · Ambition · Equity

PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education) and RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) equip pupils with the knowledge, skills and values they need to lead healthy, safe, responsible and fulfilling lives. Our curriculum supports children’s personal development, wellbeing and character, helping them understand themselves, build positive relationships and contribute to their community.

Our approach is shaped by the Discovery Trust DNA, grounded in evidence-informed practice and delivered through the Kapow Primary PSHE and RSE scheme.
